YOUR CLASSES:

ON-KICK

A high intensity, martial arts inspired class with elements of kick boxing, boxing and Muay Thai along with body weight exercises. The combination of moves focuses attention on your core muscles improving posture, stability and balance as well as giving you an adrenaline filled cardiovascular workout. The exercises can be adapted so people of all ages and abilities are able to attend.

ON-STRENGTH

Using body weight or free weights, this class focuses on all the major muscle groups. The high repetition and lighter weights lead to toning of the muscles with an increase in strength and definition. This class is perfect for those with limited space as all moves can be accomplished in a smaller workout area.

ON-HIIT AND ABS

A 25-minute cardiovascular workout with short bursts of high intensity with short rest periods followed by a 20-minute abdominal class. The fluctuations in HIIT are known to be effective in weight loss and can be more beneficial than a longer, less intense workout. Abdominal exercises build strength and endurance in these muscles and creates benefits such as improved posture, reduced back pain, improved balance and stability.

ON-BARRE

A low impact workout inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates. Benefits include improved strength, posture, flexibility, balance, stability, endurance, and muscle definition, together with weight loss and reduced stress. The exercises target muscles that support and stabilise the body and which are often neglected in everyday life and by other forms of exercise.

ON-PILATES

Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being. Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility and is accessible to a wider range of people due to being low impact and less intense than other forms of exercise. It also focuses on the mind-body connection. While doing the various exercises your mind needs to be constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves.

Steve has been teaching exercise to music for over 19 years as well as running a highly successful sports injury clinic. He is a qualified sports clinical therapist as well as a level 4 fitness instructor and personal trainer. His knowledge and experience in his field has earned him a fantastic reputation but it is his energy, sense of humour and charisma that have kept people returning time and again.

KAREN

Karen has been teaching fitness classes for over 10 years after finding a love for high impact, high cardio exercise as a way to counterbalance a high stress office job.  With a passion for making fitness fun and accessible for all abilities, Karen is delighted to teach a mix of cardio and strength classes including On-Barre. When not teaching, Karen is kept busy by her 3 young children.

CHOW

Classes: On-Demand

Chow is a fitness professional with over 17 years’ experience in the industry, originally qualifying with a Professional Studio Award in Exercise to Music and Aqua she branched into teaching Pilates. Chow is passionate about helping individuals to incorporate Pilates as part of their fitness regime. When she is not teaching, Chow is a busy mum running around after four children!
